&lt;Abstract&gt;We describe the realization and performance of a prototype high granularity calorimeter built with lead and scintillating fibers. We describe the calorimeter construction and show cosmic ray and electron test beam results obtained with a custom-designed trigger.&lt;/Abstract&gt;</description>
